In 2007, Speedimpex created and hosts New York's only award ceremony specifically designed to reward and acknowledge the importance of the stores that sell magazines and newspapers. The 2009 Golden Magazine Award Dinner drew a record crowd to the historic South Street Seaport and was co-sponsored by The New York Times and Hudson News.
